🌕 Shisui Notes – Episode 1
Beginning the Journey to Yu
Poem
Things that have not yet taken shape
are laid out one by one.
Within them,
a small light seems to appear.
Reflection
As I write the Beauty Saga and move through its inner landscape,
a certain word sometimes rises to the surface.
That word is “Yu.”
Yu is the gentle freedom that appears
only after a form has been completed
and the tension has been released.
Not the freedom of gaining something new,
but the quiet ease of no longer needing to force anything into place.
I have not yet reached that state myself.
But I can sense its outline somewhere ahead,
and I walk toward it.
These Shisui Notes exist
to trace that journey toward Yu.
To create a Saga
is to draw another map for the world.
The characters who inhabit it—
Kodama Takano, Naomi, Yuunagi—
each carry a sense of “quiet alignment”
that I have not yet mastered.
When they hesitate, I hesitate.
When they see light, my heart brightens as well.
In that way, the Saga becomes my compass.
There is no map for this journey.
Only hints that drift like fragrance,
guiding the next step.
And perhaps those detours—
the small pauses and wanderings along the way—
are what bring me closest to the essence of Yu.
On the Word “Yu”
The word “Yu” does not yet have a complete dictionary meaning.
For me, it is the quiet freedom that appears
only after everything has already been fully refined.
Flow within stillness.
Stillness within flow.
This is the state I seek as I write these Notes.
Closing
If these notes become even a small spark
for someone who carries an unnamed light within,
that will be enough.
